Welcome to Pendragon View

Surrounded by peaceful Cumbrian countryside, Pendragon View is a cosy 2-bedroom, self catering cottage at the head of the picturesque Eden Valley. It enjoys stunning views of Pendragon Castle, Wild Boar Fell and Mallerstang Edge. Our local area is a favourite with nature enthusiasts and walkers for its wonderful scenery, diverse wildlife and expansive open spaces. Historic castles, breath-taking viaducts, secluded waterfalls and secret spots for wild swimming are all close by too.

Legend has it that Pendragon castle was built by Uther Pendragon, the father of the legendary King Arthur. Today, the romantic ruins of a 12th century keep are all that remain.

Just 4 miles away lies the historic market town of Kirkby Stephen, offering a variety of shops, quaint tearooms, welcoming pubs, restaurants, bicycle hire and more. The famous Settle to Carlisle railway provides an unforgettable experience departing from Kirkby Stephen station.

The Mallerstang valley, located within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is also conveniently close to The Lake District National Park.

Whether you're in search of peace or adventure, we are confident you'll  find delight in this beautiful region of Northern England.
